My Empty Fridge

 The freezer is empty, the cupboards are almost bare, and this was the fridge a few days ago - it's even emptier now.  We are the proud owners of a limited assortment of condiments, really.  And some eggs.


Tonight I'm cooking that big cabbagey looking creature in the bottom there with some bacon I picked up at the butcher's.  And I have 1 solitary onion in the drawer, which I will sauté with the eggplant and some oil and the last of the Greek seasoning in the cupboard.  And we're going to buy a big roast of pork which will hopefully last us a few days before we're reduced to nothing but take-out pizza.
