My husband is re-sick now, from the previous sick. And also the doctor's office still doesn't have flu shots in. Despite it being mid-October. Isn't that fun? Plus I think my own personal sickness has now progressed into bronchitis. On the plus side I'm hosting Thanksgiving dinner and I promised everyone I'd cook the turkey over a bonfire in the yard, using a metal tripod suspending a metal rack over the flames. Also I haven't picked up my wood and Thanksgiving Day is forecast to be Quite Rainy. Please don't roll your eyes like that. Anyway, here are some interesting links of stuff I've read/seen online this week instead of cleaning my house for the holiday.
C.S. Lewis' last essay, written in his trademark accessible style. -

Something funny. -

Something about missions that is a bit more serious. Without dismissing this writer's experience, I don't know how I feel about this essay. -

I'm going to make this! -

My new favourite singer. Love me some folk! -

The Xerxes society local plant lists for North America. -

I would never make these, but I love to look at them. -

I hope your Wednesday is full of amazingness and that your own house smells like lemons.
