Thankful Monday

The Clara sweater is, oh, maybe 2/3 done now, and after what will henceforth be known as The World's Most Complicated Row, I think it should be smooth sailing.

Which is good, because I am itching to get my hands on all of this:

that I picked up for $6 at the thrift store last week.

A couple of fun things to share with you today.  Here's the first; a sweet lady from the church that David preached at yesterday gave us a Christmas present for the children.  Handmade mittens for Samuel and a little cupcake outfit for Clara.

I need to just stop worrying about God's provision for our family, really I do.  He's always provided.  Case in point, Samuel was given a large box of new to him clothes this week, which was perfect since he has gone through a growth spurt the last few weeks.

And in case the $6 pile 'o wool was not an impressive enough frugal buy, here's my favourite find from this week's grocery store visit:

Do you see that?  It was 74 cents, at 50% off!  That's 37 cent wrapping paper!  I bought two rolls for next Christmas.
