Spent an hour on Sunday afternoon corralling toys. All the pieces of each multi-pieced toy are now together, and the toys themselves have been cut in half with half being stored in the basement. We've never needed to do this before - but two children seem to acquire a lot of stuff. My preferred technique, and the one I will probably revert to, is to give away what we aren't using and just keep what we are - I think toy rotation (for me, at least) is too much of a hassle.
At least I got a chance to clean out the multitude of non-toy items that find themselves in bins. Socks, slippers, measuring spoons and cups, bath toys, empty plastic Easter egg halves...
Also on Sunday - attempting to be more adventurous with lunch. Instead of our usual noodles, we had buckwheat soba noodles. I know, stop the presses, it's just crazy over here. They were...brown. But not unpleasant. Clara wasn't a fan. I stir-fried some peppers, zucchini, onions and mushrooms and tossed the whole thing with a mango curry sauce and a bit of plain yogurt.
